Don't be a fool when it comes to socialism. You life (literally) depends on it.

When you realize that you live in an environment
where you are FREE to earn anything you want,
and realize too that you can attain anything you want
through your own efforts,
you will never be a fool
for someone giving you what you want
which was taken from someone else,
for "FREE".

If you don't push back the "foolishness" of Socialism, the people we honor on Memorial Day will have died in vain.

If you were standing on a sandy beach with someone and they scooped up a handful of sand and told you that you could have it for "free" what would you think? Really, what would you think? Why get it "free" when you can reach down and pick up as much of it as you want on your own; with your own effort.

That is the way it is with anything you desire; money, college, a job, healthcare, absolutely anything in life is available to him or her who takes the effort to do what it takes to get it.

The next time someone wants to give away anything free, look around; you'll see that it is already yours for the taking, through your own talents, skills, and efforts.

Alter famous quotes and "make them yours".

Quotes are all around us and have been "captured" throughout history. However, they do little good unless one searches them out and when they are found, they become a part of one's attitude arsenal to keep positive and moving upward and onward.

Many of the quotes I use, or have been known as the "originator" I'm sure I've pulled from the recesses of my mind. Many times I will take a quote by someone who acclaimed some fame (enough to think his or her quotes are now worthy) and then make it my own.

This is not to say that I take it word by word and say that I came up with it and take full responsibility and claim. When I believe in a quote, I make it my own by living its message. That is how I "make it my own".

Next, when a quote is especially valuable to my beliefs I may turn it into an affirmation so I give it power and energy in my life when I declare it out loud.

For example, this weekend I heard of a quote.

Keep your mind occupied with things which need to be done.
Then you'll have no time to fear your ability to do them.

(I was told this was by, Oliver Wolcott. If you can correct this, please let me know in the comments section).

I then modified it so I could use it. Feel free to use the following (and any of my quotes on this page) on your site or in your materials as long as you link back to this site.

I will keep my mind on things which need to be done
so I won’t have time to fear my ability to do them.

You don't have to take this crap...

Many times I see on Facebook for instance where someone is giving away a book, except that you have to pay for the shipping, or someone is offering a free webinar to show you how you can make a living doing what they are doing, etc. These are always followed by naysayers and doomsters who have nothing better to do than to put others down and try to bring them down to their level.

Don't take this crap. Think better of yourself and better of others. If the opportunity is not for you, then it is not for you; fine. Move on. Life is a buffet. If you don't like something that is offered, don't take it. But enjoy all the other things which come your way.

Sheesh!

Quit pushing and start walking.

Many people pushing on walls
don't see the open door.

Have you been (constructively) criticized lately?

Constructive criticism
brings constructive change.
Both are gifts.
